Description

The USDA Forest Service Pacific Southwest Region and Pacific Southwest Research Station has a requirement for Early Intervention Program Mediation Services. The purpose of the Early Intervention (EIP) is to provide employees and managers of Pacific southwest Region and Pacific Southwest Research Station an opportunity to use a more informal method of resolving workplace conflicts. EIP Objectives are to: 1) create a voluntary, collaborative process that involves and assists employees in resolution of disputes; 2) plrovide an environment that facilitates open communication; 3) ensure that conflict resolution skills are transferred to employees/managers participating in the resolution process. The Contractor shall provide to the Agency, within two buisness days of the date of request for EIP assistance, the assigned Contract Mediators to conduct mediation. The contracts will be effected in three separate geographic locations, which are as follows: Northern California; Central California; Southern California: Plese visit the Pacific Southwest Region website at www.r5.fs.fed.us for the addresses and locations of all the offices to be served. Solicitation issue date is o/a 2/1/02. All solicitaiton request must be submitted in writing and addressed to the Procurement Assistant listed in the announcement. Telephone and Fax requests WILL NOT be accepted.
