Description
NSN 2510008016691, Shock Absorber, Direct Action, made in accordance with Army Drawing (19207) and all currect related data. First Article Test of two units with 90 days is required. Annual estimated quantity of 1520 each to be delivered to various zones by issuance of delivery orders on an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract. Delivery will be phased beginning with 500 in 150 days (after approval of FAT) and 500 each every 30 days thereafter until quantity of delivery order is satisfied. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. The solicitation is issued unrestricted. See Note 26. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of February 15, 2002 at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. It is impracticable to distribute the applicable drawings with the solicitation. The applicable drawings are available at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. If the drawings are not posted at this web site, see Clause L07 ?Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed five years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
