- Description
- Provide integrated art conservator services for the National Capital Region (NCR). The conservators shall: (a) perform mural painting conservation survey and inspection services; (b) provide an examination report; (c) provide a treatment proposal; (d) provide a treatment report; (e) conduct cyclical inspections; (f) perform cyclical preventative maintenance; (g) develop permanent identification; (h) interpretation and public information services; (i) curatorial research; (j) damage mitigation; (k) disaster mitigation; and (1) education and training. This solicitation will be full and open. The work will be performed in the NCR, which encompasses Washington, DC. Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, Maryland; Arlington, Fairfax, Loudon and Prince William Counties, Virginia. Teams must have an office located in the NCR within 30 days of award. GSA intends to award multiple ID/IQ contracts as a result of the solicitation. The contract period of performance is for one (1) base year and two- (2) twelve-month option periods. The base work may include 10 mural treatments in the Ariel rios federal Building, Washington, and DC. Inventory inspection, and design of identification, public information and interpretation Region-wide. GSA is issuing solicitation GS11P02YAD0022 only electronically on or about February 08,2002. Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.eps.gov or www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instruction for downloading the solicitation. There will be no bidders' list for this procurement and no hard copies will be provided. The proposal due date is schedule for on or about March 08, 2002.
