- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis asynchronous data communication service for satellite data modems: 1) 96 months of remote satellite service including 500 minutes of PDS Usage 2) Activation fee for each modem, Qty 12 and 3) PDS usage per minute, after the 500 minutes per month, Qty 5,620. This requirement is sole sourced to GlobalStar USA, Inc, 1340 Treat Blvd, suite 500, Walnut Creek, CA 94696 as the only known vendor to provide this service. Any firms believing that they can provide the asynchronous data communication service for satellite data modems may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing it's ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
