- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Douglas Equipment Limited, Cheltenham, England, for the acquisition of the following items: EN Handler MK2B P/N G05581-500-B/CZ (6each)-and Ballast Weights P/N G05581-418-H (6 each). Delivery is approximately five (5) months. The proposed acquisition is Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings. Douglas Equipment Limited holds all technical data rights to the PSE. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
