- Under the authority of FAR Part 6, subpart 6.301 and 6.302, VISN 3 intends to award a sole source contract to InRange Global Consulting to provide staff augmentation services for Information Technology to include but not limited to: monitoring, management and troubleshooting of the complex multi-tiered, fully switched GbE LAN's; VISN 3's private WAN and its hand-off to VA corporate WAN; implement, support and troubleshoot the VISN's Cisco IPTV architecture, including 3411 Control Servers, 3423 Broadcast Servers,3431 Archive Servers and 2610 Gatekeeper with H.323 IOS; VISN's IPTV using Cisco Call Manager, Unity Unified Messaging, 7900 Series handsets and all related infracture; redundant Cisco PIX firewalls at VISN's two private gateway locations, Cache flow and Cisco caching engines used in conjunction with these gateways, VISN 3 RAS architecture across all sites including Ascend MAX and Cisco secure ACS platforms. In addition the responsible party must have knowledge, experience and familiarity with VA unique systems. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Any response in writing, must show clear and convincing evidence that the responder can meet the requirements listed herein and competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. Absence a response to this notice within 15 days, an award may be made to InRange Global Consulting.
