Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6 and 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-03. The previous Firm Fixed Price contract was held by EMC formally Data General Corporation, Mclean, Virginia, which expired on 12/31/01. Period of Performance will include a three month (90 days) base period with five (5) one (1) month options. The option periods may include one or both of the Data General Computers. The start date for this acquisition will begin on the day of award. Proposals for this requirement may be submitted by all concerns, i.e., large business, small businesses, and small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. The following clauses and provisions are applicable and hereby incorporated into this solicitation by reference and will be provided by the Contracting Specialist in full text upon request; FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.202-4, FAR 52.222-16, FAR 52.222-35, FAR 52.222-36 FAR 52.222-37. Closing date is 15 days of issuance posted in Federal Business Opportunities.
