- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE), New Jersey intends to contract sole source with The Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, Saint Louis, MO, to procure peculiar support equipment (PSE) in support of the Advanced Targeting Forward Looking Infrared (ATFLIR). The PSE is defined as the ATFLIR Head Handling Fixture (HHF). An ATFLIR HHF unit consists of the following parts: P/N 74D750535-1001 (Quantity 1 EA), P/N 74D750536-1001 (Quantity 1 EA), P/N 74D750537-1001 (Quantity 1 EA), P/N 74D750538-1001 (Quantity 1 EA) and P/N 74D750539-1001 (Quantity 1 EA). The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to procure twelve (12) ATFLIR HHF units as part of the base contract with three options containing twelve (12) units each via a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement Number N68335-02-G-3117. The Boeing Company is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and technical data required to produce these items. The Government does not own the drawings and other design documentation. Any firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. A determination by the Government whether or not to open the requirement for competition based on the responses to this notice is entirely within the discretion of the Government.
