Description
NA This procurement is being issued for full and open competition and solicited utilizing sealed bid procedures. The applicable NAICS code is 234990 with a small business size standard of $27.5 million. In the event the selected bid exceeds $1,000,000 and i s from a large business, it will be necessary for that firm to submit a subcontracting plan that is acceptable to the Government prior to award. Principle features of the work includes approximately, 10,000 linear feet of earth levee, approximately 5,500 linear feet of concrete floodwall, three closure structures, interior storm drainage including storm sewerage, four pump stations, two gated closures, one storm water detention pond, recreation facilities including one building, park equipment, trials and landscaping. All work will have to be completed 660 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed. Estimated order of magnitude of the requirement is more than $10,000,000. The official solicitation is available only by CD-ROM. Ordering of the CD-ROM shall be made by registering for it at the above web site. To access the USACE St. Paul District's website for information and registration, go to http://www.mvp.usace.army.mil and click on Contracting/Bidder Information. An unofficial version of the solicitation will be posted on the District?s website. HOWEVER, ANY FORTHCOMING AMENDMENTS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE ON THIS WEB SITE. E-MAIL NOTIFICATIONS WILL BE SENT UPON ISSUANCE OF ANY AMENDMENTS TO ALL REGISTERED PLAN HOLDERS. DUE TO E-MAIL MESSA GE NOTIFICATIONS MAY NOT BE RELIABLE BASED ON SYSTEM CONSTRAINTS, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT EACH REGISTERED PLAN HOLDER CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR UPDATES. A PAPER HARD COPY OF EACH AMENDMENT WILL NOT BE MAILED UNLESS SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED IN WRITI NG. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
