Description
NA THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF SOLICITING NAMES OF UNITED STATES AND INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION FIRMS INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING AN OFFER ON THE PROJECT DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: PROJECT SCOPE: A JOC (Job Order Contract) is anticipated for utilization of the 417th BSB Wuerzburg, Germany community. A firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract will be awarded. Work consists of minor construction, facilities, related equipment maintenance and repair, and asbestos abatement. The Contractor is required to manage and accomplish numerous task orders simultaneously. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: One (1) base year with two (2) option years. CONTRACT AMOUNT: Estimated $2.5 million per year, not to exceed $7.5 million for the 3-year period. G UARANTEED MINIMUM: $50,000.00 for the base year and $10,000.00 for each option year. CONTRACT PROCEDURES: This is an electronically issued solicitation. The Government will furnish one (1) copy each of the CD-ROM(s) containing the official solicitation and the Unit Price Book to prospective offerors at no charge. Paper copies of the solicitation and additional copies of these CD-ROM(s) are not available. This will be a Best Value Award requiring both a price and technical proposal in hard copy. Evalu ation factors will include, at a minimum, management capability, experience, past performance and price (cost coefficient). Complete evaluation criteria and order of precedence will be conveyed with the solicitation document. Tentative date for issuance is 3 May 2002. Tentative date for receipt of proposals is 7 June 2002. Prime construction firms interested in receiving the solicitation shall address their written request to Commander, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Europe District, ATTN: Lisle Lennon, CMR 410, Box 7, APO AE 09096 or Commander, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Europe District, ATTN: Lisle Lennon, P.O. Box 7, Konrad-Adenauer Ring 39, 65187 Wiesbaden, Germany or faxed to outside Germany: 011-49-611-816-2618; inside Germany: 0611-816-2618. The request shall state the name of the firm, both mailing and shipping addresses, telephone and fax numbers, E-Mail address, point of contact, and must reference the solicitation number. CD-ROMs will only be furnished to prime construction firms. Subco ntractors and suppliers must obtain information from prime construction firms.
