Description

NA Project Manager Aviation Systems (PM AS) anticipates a requirement for 1,149 lightweight, ruggedized, portable computers during FY03 - FY06 to support its Microsoft Windows NT-based Aviation Mission Planning System. The systems will be required to operate in field environments typical of deployed Army Aviation line Companies/Troops. There are 328 systems anticipated for FY03. Potential offerors will be required to integrate Government furnished equipment/Government furnished information components and de monstrate completion of a Production Qualification Test. The ongoing Army Transformation Campaign Plan could add approximately 50% to the anticipated requirement of 1,149 systems.
