- Synopsis: This is a modification synopsis of the original synopsis posted on Nov 5, 2001. This modification to the synopsis is being done because surplus (in certain conditions) has been approved for this buy. This is a spare buy solicitation for 3 each flight directional indicators, applicable to FD-109/ASQ-141, NSN 5826-01-065-1213, P/N 772-5006-005. Delivery: 31 Oct 2002. The request for solicitation should contain Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Cage code Number, Size of Business pursuant to NAICS 334511, 750 employees. Sole Source to: Rockwell Collins, Inc., Cage Code 13499. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
