- NA This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Accessibility Services Inc. to provide six (6) each of the following: Simplicity All In One Environmental Control Unit. Controlled items are: (1) lights, up to 32 (on/off, brighten, dim) (2) appliances, up to 32 (on/off) (3) phone (answer, random dial, speed dial, hang-up, privacy option, call waiting, Quick Dial, volume control, etc) (4) Infrared remote control devices, up to 6 devices and 240 functions (TV, VCR, cable, CD player, satellite and others) and (5) bed control, foot/head/mattress. Additional features with each unit: (1) built-in full featured telephone (2) built-in battery back-up (3) customized menu and speed options (4) built-in ?Help Me? command (5) no visual display needed (6) remote voice/switch decoder interface (7) computer interface and (8) UL and CSA recognized for medical equipment. Standard equipment with each unit: (1) Simplicity series ECU (2) microphone (3) lamp Module (4) appliance module (5) two ability switch adaptors (6) phone cord (6ft) (6) phone coupler and (7) computer cables (AIO plus). One each (1) Auto reverse tape player. This is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, for Other Than Full and Open Competition. North American Industry Classification System is 42145. Delivery to be made to James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33612. The anticipated date of award is January 28, 2002. This notice is not a request for offers.
