- Description
- The USCG ELC has a requirement to procure 24 Volt remote control searchlights for the 41' UTB - Utility Boats. This will be a Brand Name or equal. ITT Industries, Jabsco, P/N 62042-4006 or equal. The salient characteristics are: 8" light, 24-volt remote controlled searchligh. Complete drive unit enclosed in searhlight housing. Single control lever for vertical and horizontal movement, flush mounted. To be included with searchlight. On-off and spot/flood beam selection from a single switch. Clutch system feature to protect drive unit from overload. Light head will have the ability to move without damage to the drive unit. Internal brake system required to hold beam firml on target. Controller included with on-off, spot/flood switch, dual speed control, and single control for vertical and horizontal movement. Searchlight will be constructed of brass for the head and brass for the base with a complete chrome finish over the entire searchlight. Searchlight will also include a 15' cable assembly for connections between the searchlight and the flush mounted remote controller. Searchlight dimensions shall be of the following: 11" Long x 8 1/4" wide and 14 1/4" high. Delivery to USCG ELC, Baltimore, MD, FOB Destination. A first article will be required for approval, upon approval a remaining balance of 134 each will be procured. Solicitation Number DTCG40-02-Q-LD002 will be uploaded in www.eps.gov, via the Federal Business Opportunties (FEDBIZOPPS for your convenience on or about 16 February 2002. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
