- UNICOR intends to enter into a firm fixed price definite delivery definite quantity type contract for Sewing Machines. The solicitation number is TX00134-02 and this solicitation is issued as an Request For Proposal (RFP). This is a brand name or equal requirement for the following machines: Item 0001 ? UNICOR Part # PDCTX0031, Juki-DDL555ON 7 or Equal, Single Needle Sewing Machine Qty: 50, U/I: Each, Item 0002 ? UNICOR Part # PDCTX0006, Three Thread Serger, Qty: 6, U/I: Each, Item 0003 ? UNICOR Part # PDCTX0002, Loop Tacker Machine, Qty: 2, U/I: Each, Item 0004 ? UNICOR Part # PDCTX0010, Flat Bed Chain Stitch, Qty: 1, U/I: Each, Item 0005 ? Cutting Table Standard Philocraft or equal, Qty: 1, U/I: Each, Item 0006 Fabric Spreading Machine ? UNICOR Part # PDCTX0009, Qty: 1, U/I: Each, Item 0007 ? Fabric Cutting Knife, Qty: 2, U/I: Each. Machinery to be delivered FOB Destination FCI Lee County, VA. Offerors are to provide descriptive literature for items being proposed. Literature must be received with written proposal by the closing date and time as specified in the solicitation document. Delivery is 45 days after receipt of contract/delivery order. This is a full and open competitive Request for Proposal for sewing machines. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on a multiple award basis. Offers shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, 320 First Street NW, 400 Building, 7th Floor, Washington, DC 20534, ATTN: Bid Custodian. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: past performance, quality/technical and price. Variation in quantity is +/- 0%. This is a best value procurement. Solicitations may be obtained from our website at www.unicor.gov and Fedbizops. Additional information and specifications will be provided in solicitation document. All responsible offerors may submit an offer which will be considered. The solicitation will be available at Fedbizops and our webpage on or after 1-30-02.
