Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Southeast Regional Office is seeking quotes from contractors that can provide solid waste disposal services at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located at 2600 Highway 301 South in Jesup, Georgia 31545. The service will be required for a base year from approximately April 1, 2002 through September 30, 2002, with four subsequent one year options. The contract calls for disposal services of: 1- 20 cubic yard open container located outside the secure perimeter fence with a pick up schedule of once a week (52 pulls); 2 - 34 cubic yard compactors located inside the secure perimeter fence with 2 pulls per week per container (208 pulls); 1 - 34 cubic yard compactor located outside the secure perimeter fence with one pull per week (52 pulls). Frequency of pulls will remain the same with each option year. The NAICS code for this service is 562111 with small business size standard of $6 million. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The estimated issue date of RFQ 30703-0016-2 will be February 8, 2002 with a due date for receipt of quotes by the close of business on March 1, 2002.
