- Description
- Construct two earthen dikes, one ditch plug, and a shallow wildlife pool; install microtopography habitat features; and plant hardwood trees for the purpose of restoring wetland conditions and enhancing aquatic habitat of a Wetland Restoration Program site in Sumter County, South Carolina. The work will involve approximately 5.5 acres clearing and grubbing, 5,200 CY earthfill, 2,000 CY excavation, 6.5 acres seeding, and 200 hardwood trees. The estimated price is within the range of $25,000 to $100,000. The performance time, including mobilization time and anticipated weather delays, is 55 calendar days. The solicitation is subject to simplified acquisition procedures and competition is unrestricted with price preferences to qualifying SBA certified Hubzone and SDB concerns. The NAICS code for this procurement is 234990. The solicitation will be available for viewing and/or downloading from website, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about February 11, 2002. Interested parties are invited to attend a site showing on February 14, 2002. The site showing will begin at 9:30 AM in the conference room, Federal Building, 101 South Main Street, Sumter.
