- Description
- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing has a requirement for six (6) High Speed Desk-top Bank Note Counters. The counters must meet the following specifications: 1. Hopper must accommodate a minimum of two-hundred (200) bank notes; 2. Counter must count bank note packs with package strap intact; 3. Counting speed should be a minimum of one-thousand (1,000) notes per minute; and 4. An operators manual shall be included with each unit. Used or reconditioned equipment is not acceptable. This is a combined synopsis/request for quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The applicable NAICS Code is 421420, with a small business size standard of 100 employees. Quotation may be submitted on a SF 1449, SF 18, or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, delivery date, company name, business size, and DUNS number. Delivery is expected within six weeks upon receipt of a written order. FOB destination prices are required, with delivery to Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Shipping and Receiving, D Street between 13th & 14th Streets, Washington, DC 20228-0001.
