Description: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with United Technology/Hamilton Sundstrand of Windsor Locks, CT 06090, for flight test engineering support through Phase 2 of flight testing of the NP2000 propeller system. United Technology/Hamilton Sundstrand is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the NP2000 propeller, and is therefore, the only source that possesses the resources, in depth technical knowledge and technical data necessary to provide these services within the time required to meet USN requirements.
