- Description
- Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and transportation, to install a new steam line at Building 177, at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center, Beltsville, Maryland 20705. All work is to be completed within 120 calendar days following receipt of Notice to Proceed. The applicable NAICS Code is 23511 with a small business standard of $11.5M. This requirement is solicited on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The magnitude of the project is between $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-02. The solicitation will be made available to interested parties through electronic data interchange. The Internet address is http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made via the Internet. It is the contractor's responsibility to check the Internet site for any posted changes to the solicitation. The solicitation package 05-3K47-02 will be available on or about February 11, 2002. A site visit will be held at Building 177, on February 19, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. Written quotations by facsimile are acceptable on or before February 28, 2002 at 4:30 p.m. (EST). A firm fixed price purchase order will be awarded to a responsible firm with the quote most advantageous to the Government, considering price and price related factors. Anticipated award is March, 2002.
