- Description
- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with the Quileute Tribe, Natural Resources (Tribe) for the National Marine Fisheries Service/NW Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC). Purpose of proposed contract is the collection of water samples and various invertebrate samples. The Tribe will collect 400 clams during an 18-week field collection period. Clams will be cleaned and edible tissue processed using the AOAC methanol extraction method. The NWFSC is in partnership with the Tribe. All samples will be collected on tribal lands by tribal members. Questions concerning this acquisition may be directed to Randall Brown. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
