Description
The Contractor shall furnish and deliver three (3) Floating Courtesy Docks to the London Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Laurel County, Kentucky. The docks shall be delivered, ready to install, with installation to be done by the Forest Service. Dock Number 1 will be delivered to the Flatwoods Boat Ramp located on Flatwoods Road off KY Highway 3430. This dock will be 20 feet square with a 4 feet wide X 36 feet long bridge. Dock Number 2 will be delivered to the Marsh Branch Boat Ramp located on Marsh Branch Road off KY Highway 192. This dock will be 20 feet square with a 4 feet wide X 40 feet long bridge. Dock Number 3 will be delivered to the Grove Boat Ramp located on Grove Road off KY Highway 1193. This dock will be 20 feet square with a 4 feet wide X 40 feet long bridge. The docks at all locations shall have bridges with wooden decking and railing on both sides. The shoreline connection on the bridges shall be pin type. The docks shall have concrete decking with an aggregate finish. Bumper protection shall be vertical bumpers with corner bumpers. Bumper spacing shall be manufacturer recommended. Flotation for bridges and docks shall be encapsulated foam. Tiedown cleats shall be spaced at the manufacturer?s discretion. The Forest Service will supply all anchorage materials. Anchorage will use stiffarms. The price range will be between $25,00 and $100,000. These items will be solicited using the Request for Quotation format. This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns in NAICS Code 421910, Sporting and Recreational Goods and Supplies Wholesalers with a size standard of 500 employees.
