Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number RFQ-02-033 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-01. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 334112 and the size standard is 1000 employees. Line item no. 1)DLT Cartridges ? DLT IV, 40-80GB, Quantity: 1,550 each; Line item no. 2)Black and White Bar Code Labels, numbered DL002952 ?DL004502, numbers must be in color, must include the letters DL plus the tape number, includes a ?checksum? character, do not adhere labels to the cartridges, see ?Attachment A? for specifications; Line item no. 3) DLT Cleaner Cartridges, do not number. The equipment that the cartridges will used in is an Exebyte 230D with two (2) DLT 7000 tape drives. Delivery to: Bureau of the Public Debt, 149 19th Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101, FOB Destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be based on technically compliant, low price. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items with their offer.
