Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has intends to procure on a sole source basis from Radstone Technology Corporation the following parts: 1) 3 ea. G4DSP-7400-140X6, 4x MPC7400 Compute Nodes at 400MHz, Multi 64 Bit 66MHz PCI Bus Architecture, 128 MB SDRAM, 18 MB FLASH and 2 MB L2 Cache per Compute Node, 2x Independent and Simultaneous 64 Bit 66 MHz PMC Sites, 32 Bit 33MHz P0 PCI, VME 64, 100 BaseT, 4x RS232 ports and 4x JTAG Emulator Ports w/Virtuoso BootROMBIT; 2) 3 ea. G4P2PC-11, P2 Transition Module with 5 Row Connector provided headers for Ethernet (100BaseT-RJ45) RS232 Comms 1,2,3, and 4 Serial, for use with G4DSP-7400-140, Provide Access for Emulator on Node A; 3) 3 ea. G4FPPC-11, Front Panel Transition Module Providing JTAG Access for PCI Bridge Loop, Ethernet, VME, L2 Cache, SRAM, XLINX CPLD, 4x RS232, 4xMPC7400. Includes Cables; 4) 1 ea. G4DSP-BITM, Maintenance Agreement supplying Updates and Support for Radstone?s BIT on G4DSP. Includes Right to Use and One Run Time License; 5) 2 ea. G4DSP-BITRP, Additional BIT Run Time Licenses for Item 1; 6) 3 ea. G4DSP-VBRRP, Virtuoso Boot ROM Run Time. One per G4DSP Board Required; 7) 1 ea. PPCBIT-2M, Maintenance Agreement Providing Support and Update for PPC BIT Object. NUWCDIVNPT?s COT-DV Guidance and Control Box utilizes Radstone Quad G4 Signal Processing cards containing the CBASS signal processing software and configuration upgrades are needed. The upgrade must be compatible with the existing hardware. Radstone is the manufacturer of the current cards and are the only known source that can provide a direct replacement that is compatible, from both a hardware and software standpoint, with the current configuration. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source using SAP and commercial item procedures as set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 2002 January 30 will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
