- NA Requirement for award of a firm fixed price contract to provide all necessary material, labor, equipment, transportation, and supervision to complete installation and construction of pilings and piling cap for CONSPAN bridge. Work includes but is not limi ted to installation of 22 pilings (approx 30' but may go to 40' or 50'), site preparation and construction of the piling cap, approx 200' total of stream bank repair and preparation on both sides of the creek, backfill with 12 inches rip rap stream side, c ompaction grave bank side of piling caps, and dewatering. Anticipated completion date is 01 May 02. Project magnitude is between $80,000 and $150,000. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds will be required. The NAICS code is 234120 with a small business size standard of $27.5 million. Competition is set aside for small business. Solicitation documents will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 07 Feb 02. Parties interested in the solicitation should access the web page for issuance of the solicitation, associated documents, and solicitation amendments; there will be no direct notification of solicitation amendments. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after solicitation issuance as indicated on solicitation. All proposal forms, bid bonds, and other documents required for proposal submittal shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for submission of proposal documents will not be allowed. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
