Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format FAR Subpart 12.3, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written Solicitation will not be written. Purchase Request Number, F7442713540500, is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. This acquisition falls under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333415. The government intends to solicit and award this purchase order for the following: STANDARD AIR COOLED RECIPROCATING LIQUID CHILLER PACKAGE UNIT, MANUFACTURED BY CARRIER, MODEL #30GTT130-E-6, 130 TONS, 460 VOLTS, 3-PHASE, 60 CYCLE, HCFC-22, REFRIGERANT MUST HAVE CONFORTLINK CONTROLS, PART WINDING START, ENERGY MANAGEMENT OPTION, STANDARD ALUMINUM FIN AND COPPER TUBE, STANDARD PACKING. IT ALSO MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS; CONTROL TRANSFORMER (PART # 30GT-911-036), UNIT CONTROL DISPLAY, (PART#30GT-911-057), FACTORY STARTUP (PART#STARTUP), COMPLETE UNIT WITH ONE YEAR PARTS AND LABOR (PART #130-150-170) UNIT COMES WITH VICTAULIC COUPLINGS, GROUND FAULT MOTOR PROTECTION MODULES. This solicitation contains one line item, FOB point is Travis Air Force Base, CA 94535. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition without addenda. Offerors must include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Representation and Certifications- Commercial items with this offer. The solicitation will be issued on or after 18 Jan 2002. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All requests for the solicitation must be through fax or email. NO REQUEST BY MAIL OR TELEPHONE WILL BE ACCEPTED AND NO FAX OR EMAIL WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 25 JAN 2002. All potential contractors must comply with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) requirements to be considered responsive. The vendor must include a standard commercial warranty.
