- The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations to perform maintenance and repair of 11 trucks and buses for the Milwaukee WI VA Medical Center, for the period 3/1/02 through 02/28/03, plus 4 one-year options to renew. Contract includes oil changes, lubrication, fuel filter changes, transmission fluid changes and other, similar services. Electronic version and hard copy of solicitation will be available on or about 01/22/02. This is a 100% set aside for small business concerns. NAICS number is 81111. Size standard is $5 million. Electronic solicitation may be obtained FREE at the following URL: http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the GLAC Contact Point and accompanied by a check for $10.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. No telephone requests will be accepted. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
