- Description
- The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for Naval Architecture Icebreaker Design expertise. Naval Architecture Icebreaker Design expertise includes but is not limited to Icebreaker Hull Form development, Ice Management, Structural Ice Loading, Powering and Maneuverability in Ice, and Propeller design for Icebreaking. Work will include technical review and analysis of Icebreaking and Icebreaker design related Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) for the Coast Guard Great Lakes Icebreaker Replacement project. This requirement was previously advertised as sole source. This solicitation is hereby changed from sole source to open to all interested GSA contractors on the GSA MOBIS schedule. All responsive and responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), short-term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
