- Description
- The FAA releases the attached briefing package for Industry Day II that the Next Generation Air/Ground (A/G) Communications (NEXCOM) Product Team will present to those vendors who have previously scheduled one-on-one meetings during January 22 through 25, 2002. The briefing package is an overview of the NEXCOM Ground System Strategy and the identification of the two phased acquisition approach for the Rapid Preliminary Development Effort (RPDE) and Full Scale Development Program (FSDP). Specific contract type information will be discussed during the one-on-ones. Vendors are encouraged to review the briefing package and bring any questions to their appointed meeting. Questions concerning this announcement should be addressed to the FAA NEXCOM Program Contracting Officer, Mr. Matthew E. Asai, matt.asai@faa.gov. The contracting officer will not respond to telephonic requests for information.
