- Description
- NOAA's Office of Response and Restoration (OR&R) has a requirement for professional services and materials to NOAA and other Government agencies in coastal cleanup strategies involved in the assessment of environmental hazards associated with oil and hazardous materials release. This includes:(1) providing environmental assessments on short-term notice during releases of oil and hazardous materials in coastal area of the United States; (2) conduct training in the area of environmental sensitivity; (3) identify and develop information sources for advancing the state-of-the-art in support spill preparedness and planning activities; (5) provide on-site scientific advices to Federal on-scene coordinators and response personnel during an estimated 75 oil and hazardous waste site investigations; and (6) prepare Environmental Sensitivity Index (ESI) mapping of coastal areas of the United States. The period of performance will be for on base year and four (4) additional one-year option periods. This is a 100 percent small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
