- Description
- This solicitation is to provide services for the remeasurement of previously installed Currnet Vegetation Survey plots installed from 1993 to 1996. The plots are about 3.4 miles apart on a grid on the Malheur, Umatilla and Wallowa-Whitman National Forests in NE Oregon, Western Idaho and SW Washington. Trees, understory vegetation, down woody material, and ground cover will be measured. About 690 plots will be remeasured. This effort will be a 12 month based period with 2 one year options. Issue O/A February 2, 2002. The solicitation will be available electronically on the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov or you may request hard copy from the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest contracting section at 541-523-1209. The period of contract is approximately 31 days. Desired start work date is May 6, 2002.
