- Description
- The Government has a requirement for a quantity of 20 ASDS Lithium Ion batteries and approximately 160 hours of related engineering services. A fixed-price contract is anticipated. The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract on a sole-source basis to Alliant Pwer Source, Horsham, PA based on FAR 6.302-1, only one source capable of meeting the Government?s requirements. Batteries are to be manufactured IAW Alliant Power Sources P/N G6434A1. Delivery of the batteries is estimated to be required approximately 120 days after award. Delivery will be FOB destination NSWC Crane, IN. Inspection and acceptance testing will be at destination. The applicable NAICS Classification is 335912 and the size standard is 1000 employees.
