Description

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance and disposal of seized/forfeited vehicles in the Northern District of California (San Francisco area). The vehicles will include production-sized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract using Commercial Item Procedures with a contract term for a base year with 4 one-year options, for a total of five (5) years. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that Solicitation No. MS-02-Q-0010 will be issued on or about February 9, 2002. The estimated response date will be February 28, 2002. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site: http://www.eps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The EPS site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the EPS web site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the EPS site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
