- NOUN: SEAL, RING METAL NSN: 5330-01-144-3256NZ PART NUMBER: 4001642P05 TOTAL QUANTITY: 263 ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE: SEPT 2002 SHIP TO/MARK FOR: FB 2039, ACC?T 09 This procurement requires a total of 3 First Articles, First Article Test Plan and a First Article Test Report. First Article waiver is in effect for approved source(s) only. Qualification Requirements are available upon request. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. No telephone request. Only two approved sources are listed on the AFLC Form 761: Pratt & Whitney cage code 52661 and Kaydon Ring & Seal, Inc. cage code 75370. In order to be eligible for contract award, offerors must be an approved source IAW Clause I-70. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requirements (SAR?s). Therefore, offerors arew encouraged to submit SAR?s ASAP. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards.
