- NOTE: This notice hereby changes the below solicitation notice from a Total Small Business Set Aside to an Unrestricted acquisition. The date for the availability of the solicitation has been extended, accordingly, to February 19, 2002. NSN: 8465-01-445-6274, A-A-55262. This acquisition is for a quantity of 157,015 minimum/ 275,000 maximum Modular Sleep Systems. Destinations are New Cumberland, PA and Tracy, CA. Production leadtime is 180 days. Solicitation shall be issued using a total Small Business Set Aside. Best value source selection procedures shall be utilized. The following evaluation factors shall be used: production demonstration models (PDMs), past performance, industrial mobilization, socioeconomic program support, and DLA business mentoring agreements. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal for consideration to DSCP. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after February 19, 2002. From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles as the commodity center from which notices will be sent.
