Description

DESC: This project is UNRESTRICTED. The NACIS Code is 233320 and the annual size is $27.5 million. The work includes renovation of the DAPS facility in Building 1001, to be done in three phases and incidental related work. The project area is located in a portion of the first floor and the work involves primarily interior renovation. The present entrance is not handicap accessible and the scope of the project includes re-construction of the entrance to include a ramp and make it ADA compliant. Interior renovation will include defining spaces for reception, offices, printing and paper and supply storage. Doors leading out to the loading dock will be replaced and refinished as necessary. A false ceiling and wall furring will be provided to conceal pipe, electrical panels, etc. Suitable finishes will be provided to maintain an improved working environment. Estimated range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The projected date for availability of the solicitation will be 01 February 2002. A site visit has been planned for February 13, 2002 at 0900 AM to meet at the Officer in Charge of Construction, Large Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Building 2004, Mann Hall, Barnett Avenue, Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia. THE BID OPENING DATE IS 05 MARCH 2002 at 3:00 PM. THE SOLICITATION SPECIFICATIONS ARE LIMITED TO THE ELECTRONIC WORLD WIDE WEB ONLY AND WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD FREE OF CHARGE AT http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. THE OFFICIAL PLAN HOLDERS LIST WILL NOT BE FAXED AND WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE AT THE WEB SITE ADDRESS LISTED ABOVE.
