Description

Peters, fax number 703-648-7901, email fpeters@usgs.gov The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement to purchase a refurbished Agilent Technologies gas chromatography/mass spectrometer (Agilent G1727A, 5973A CI MSD Turbo Pump System and Agilent G1943A, 6890 Plus GS System) that is compatible with existing instrumental systems. THE USGS ANTICIPATES AWARDING THE PURCHASE ORDER TO QUANTUM ANALYTICS; this contractor is certified distributor and the only known source for this refurbished system. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY; no formal RFQ will be available. This award will be made on or about 24 January 2002, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000,00. Any Vendors who can provide the exact refurbish system are invited to provide an affirmative response to this notice by faxing capability statement to the CO at 703-648-7901. All responses must be received in this office within 5 calendar days from the date this publication first appears. All responses must be in writing, no telephone requests will be accepted.
