- NA The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Lewis, Washington, is hereby soliciting information for potential sources sought for an OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison Study of Public Works, Fort Lewis, Washington. The scope of work provides Real Property Maintena nce Activities services which includes maintenance and repair of real property; minor construction; and engineering, housing, and environmental support to all organizations, subordinate units and assigned military organizations. A draft copy of the Perfor mance Work Statement without the technical exhibits is available for review on the Directorate of Contracting web site at www.lewis.army.mil/doc. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 561210 with a size standard of $20.0 million. To q ualify as a small business concern, you must meet the size standard of $20.0 million average annual receipts over a three-year period for NAICS Code 561210. The Contracting Office at Fort Lewis, Washington, anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal for a base and four one-year option periods. Based on the results of the cost comparison the Government may elect to award a contract or retain the function in-house. The above services are not all inclusive. Contractors are expected to provide all managemen t and labor required for the operation and management of the functions listed. If subcontractors are used, provide anticipated percentage of effort to be subcontracted and whether small or large businesses will be used. All responses to any subsequent Re quest for Proposal will require complete technical, management and price proposal with associated supporting documentation. This is not a solicitation or announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. No telephone calls requesting a bid package or solicitation will be accepted or acknowledged. There is no solicitation. In order to protect the integrity of any future procurement that may arise from this notice, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given, nor will any appointments for presentations be accepted. Interested sources should provide a letter of interest with a capab ilities package limited to five pages to the address below. Responses to this notice should include (1) company name, address, point of contact, Dun and Bradstreet Number, CAGE code and size of business; (2) Annual revenue for NAICS Code 561210 and enti re business, and total number of employees; (3)whether your firm is small and if it qualifies as a small emerging business or a small disadvantaged business;(4)whether your firm qualifies as disadvantaged and specify under which disadvantaged group or if y our firm is certified under Section 8(a)of the Small Business Act;(5)whether your firm is certified as a HUBZone firm;(6)whether your firm is a woman-owned or operated business;(7)whether your firm is certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Vetera n-Owned business;(8)the year your firm was established.(9) Previous experience: Include information for on-going contracts or contracts completed within the last five years under NAICS Code 561210 or SIC Code 8744. Pertinent information is (a) Name of Co ntracting Activity; (b) Contract Number; (c) Contract Type (FFP, Cost, IDIQ or combination); (d) Period of Performance and total contract value (actual values for past contracts); (e) summary of contract work; (f) Contracting Officer?s name and current t elephone number; (g) Contracting Officer?s Technical Representative (name and current telephone number) (h) list of major subcontractors including names, addresses and telephone numbers of primary point of contact. (i) brief overview of your technical appr oach and degree of experience in providing same or similar services; (j) evidence of financial capability and technical/management resources to support a requir ement of this nature and size. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Gov ernment. Any information received is solely for the purpose of market research. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarde d in accordance with applicable Government regulation. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of submission of the contractor's information. This not a Request for Proposal.
