- The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Solicitation RFP-797-NC-02-0007, for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs and the Dept. of Defense's requirements for the following Gemfibrozil and Carbamazepine Tablets: Gemfibrozil 600 mg., 60s - Est. Annual Usage: 290,381 BT Gemfibrozil 600 mg., 500s ? Est Annual Usage: 96,647 BT Carbamazepine 100 mg., Tab., 100s Chewable - Est. Annual Usage: 15,135 BT Carbamazepine 200 mg., Tab., 100s - Est. Annual Usage: 3,023 BT Carbamazepine 200 mg., Tab., 500s - Est. Annual Usage: 39,976 BT OR Carbamazepine 200 mg., Tab., 1000s - Est. Annual Usage: 19,988 BT Indian Health Service and Bureau of Prisons may submit additional requirements, but the Solicitation will clearly state whether these two agencies are included, and if so, what their additional annual usage is expected to be. The contract period will be for a period of one year, plus four one-year options. Distribution will be through the VA Prime Vendor and DoD's Prime Vendors. The Solicitation will be available for downloading on or about 2/8/02, at the VA office of Acquisition and Materiel Management's internet webb site at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Offers will be due 3/8/02.
