- Description
- The National Cemetery Administration, based in 811 Vermont Avenue, NW Room 235 Washington, DC 20420 requires the procurement of a construction project No. 871-CM3-019 titled ?BURIAL AREA DEVELOPMENT? at the Puerto Rico National Cemetery, Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Solicitation No. 871-005-02. Work includes but is not limited to: Construction services based on construction documents and specifications for the following: general construction, rock removal and earthwork, burial area excavation and grading, drainage, water distribution system, new roads, repairs to roads, electrical system, landscaping and grassing and certain other items. Provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the work as requested on drawings and specifications. The contractor?s bid price shall include all work as required in the drawings and specifications. The cost range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Visits to the site shall be coordinated with the Cemetery Director?s Office telephone (787)798-8400. Bidding documents will be available on December 10, 2001 at the Contracting Officer?s office number C-5 Basement, VAMC, 10 Casia Street, San Juan, Puerto Rico 00921-3201 and will be furnished upon request at a non-refundable cost of $180.00 in the form of money order, certified or manager?s check payable to the P.R.National Cemetery. Bidders are requested to attend the Pre-Bid conference on Thursday, January 31, 2002 at 9:30am at the Cemetery premises on Ave. Cementerio Nacional #50, Bo. Hato Tejas, Bayamon, Puerto Rico 00961. All requests shall be made to the issuing office attention to Ms. Myrna Bermudez, Contracting Officer, in writing or facsimile transmission to (787) 641-8364 stating the complete company name, street address, tax identification number, telephone number including area code, and solicitation number. Bids will be due on February 25, 2002 at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VAMC, 10 Casia Street, San Juan, PR 00921-3201. This solicitation is unrestricted (full and open competition). Subject to availability of funds.
