Description

The United States Penitentiary (USP) and Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Leavenworth, located in Leavenworth, Kansas, is soliciting a contractor to provide Dental services to the inmate population. The contractor will provide routine dental services and basic laboratory procedures to inmate patients. All basic supplies shall be furnished by USP Leavenworth. The services shall be performed Monday through Friday, 7:30 am through 3:30 pm, excluding holidays. The anticipated period of performance is from the date of award through 9/30/02. This solicitation is set-aside 100% small business and the NAICS code is 621999. This is not a personnel appointment. The award of the contract does not constitute an employee/employer relationship. The contractor will not be supervised, but will be monitored to determine if services rendered are in compliance with the contract terms and conditions. The contractor will adhere to specific rules and regulations of the department and institution. Any individual working with the confines of USP/FPC Leavenworth must undergo a background investigation and drug test prior to being permitted inside the institution. The government may award the contract without discussions, therefore, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially.
