Description
A/E services to include but not limited to review of schematic, design, construction documents, bid tabulations, construction awards, and change orders for construction grants. Conduct pre construction meetings, site visits and final construction documentation. The type of facilities include but not limited to Healthcare, and Educational facilities. The projects will be located on the West side of the Mississippi River on the Continent of the United States. The estimated construction amount of each project is between $100,000.00 and $20 million. The evaluation factors for the contractor selection are listed below in descending order of priority:(1) Key personnel's educational background & professional registration with respect to healthcare and health research facilities(10 years exp. min.); (2) Key personnel's past experience in Mech./Elect./Environ./Arch. disciplines in their field(10 yrs. exp. min.);(3)Firm's capability to review and recommend design & supervise construction projects as demonstrated, work similar in nature and magnitude;(4) Location of office must be within a 25 radius of Los Angeles International Airport;(5)Capability of firm to under take subject project & complete within specific timeframe, based on available staff, workloads, & past performance record, proposed project team organization and control of project;(6) display knowledge and skills with respect to NFPA 101,AIA Guidelines for Hospital and Healthcare, ADA, and state and local codes;(7)All disciplines in-house under one firm name;(8) Project manager to work on this task has been working on a project full time over the last 12 months and would work on this project over the min. of 50% of his/her time. All responsible sources may submit a SF-254 & SF-255, which shall be considered by the agency. The NAIC code is 54131. The SIC code, the size standard is $4 million. This procurement is unrestricted under the small business demonstration program.
