Description

HVAC Remodel of existing system at the St. Paul Headquarters Building in St. Paul, Minnesota. The project consists of the replacement of two built-up air-handling units and associated components. Demolition includes, but is not limited to the following: removal and disposal of ductwork; reheat coils and fire dampers; steam lines; condensate lines and all chilled water piping. Also, included is removal and abatement of asbestos insulation on all the steam, condensate and chilled water line fittings. Work further includes providing new air handling units, new chilled water lines and associated equipment; new reheat coils and associated ductwork; new steam to hot water converter and associated piping and equipment for reheat coils and heating coils; electrical wiring and temperature controls for complete operating system. Work is expected to begin on or about April 1, 2002 and must be substantially completed by July 1, 2002 (ventilation and air-conditioning must be operable). Total completion within 180 calendar days. Estimated Price Range: Between $250,000 and $500,000. Twenty (20) percent bid guarantee, 100 percent performance bond and 100 percent payment bonds will be required.
