- Description
- Computer Sciences Corporation CSC intends to issue via competition a solicitation for a custom, local exchange, wireless service at the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) for one (1) base year (13 months on the first POP) and one (1) year option period. Period of Performance (POP) for the base year shall be 4/01/02-4/30/03. The hardware (handsets)/service to be provided will include local, regional and nationwide handheld wireless support using the Alabama area code of 256, and the MSFC exchanges of 544 and 961 numbers. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available via e-mail in approximately thirty (30) days from the posted date of this synopsis to the firms that respond to this synopsis. The RFP will include technical documentation (SOW), and complete service implementation information with minimum and maximum quantities for the periods specified. Interested and responsible parties shall provide sufficient information not later than fifteen (15) days such as company name, point of contact, a brief history of similar telecommunications services via e-mail to nancy.lockridge@msfc.nasa.gov to request a copy of the RFP. Responses received after the fifteen (15) days will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis. The solicitation number must be noted on the request for the RFP. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS ARE "NOT" ACCEPTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of any amendments, and clarifying questions and answers at http://procurement.nasa.gov/ . This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
