- NA This CBD notice is issued to inform industry that the US Army CECOM has posted a Draft Statement of Work and Draft Commercial Item Description (CID) for Fiber Optic Gyro Systems (FOGS). Industry review and comments on the Draft SOW and Draft CID. See bel ow for the additional information provided. The Draft SOW and Draft CID define the efforts required by the contractor to perform and produce the products required by this solicitation. The items being purchased are entitled dual Fiber Optic Gyro Systems (FOGS) and include the Installation Kits that are required for the aircraft platforms specified in this solicitation. The installation kits shall include all technical instructions, parts and materials required for performing the necessary equipment installation and aircraft modifications. The cont ractor's efforts shall include all non-recurring engineering, manufacturing of the FOGS and installation kits, validation, verification flight test qualification and production testing, integrated logistics support, depot repair and warranty, training, and delivery of the systems. Comments from industry are encouraged and shall be submitted via e-mail to the Contracting Officer/Contract Specialist at Nanette.McGinley@mail1.monmouth.army.mil and Robert.Miller3@mail1.monmouth.army.mil.
