- NA It is the intent of the US Army Production Acquisition Division to procure satellite broadcast transmissions services on a random schedule from 0800 to 1600 (8:00 - 4:00) Eastern Standard Time Monday through Friday.The broadcast would consist of 1 hour, on e-way video via KU/C Band satellite broadcast transponder to between one and five selected television stations in the CONUS with two-way audio return from each station; and a 90-minute Town Hall broadcasts--CONUS. It is projected that there will be a minim um of 2 and maximum of 4 transmissions per month and one to three 90-min. transmissions per year.The broadcasts will originate from one of three locations within the Pentagon-The Air Force Studio, the Army Studio or the Press Briefing Facility. The Produc tion Acquisition Division plans to award a fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity purchase for these satellite transmissions-minimum of two with a maximum of four for the first seven months.The performance of period will be for seven months wi th an option to extend.This Request for Quotation is issued under Subpart FAR 12.6 -Commercial Item and FAR 13.3-Simplified Acquisition. The contractor shall provide fiber optic network connection with fiber optic switch from Pentagon locations to the upl ink site. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The NAICS Code is 513120 and the size standard is $10.5M.
