- Description
- Single source professional services procurement of professional services expertise in technical review of documents and plans relative to the cleanup of Holden Mine site. The purpose of this synopsis is to publicize the fact that the Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forests intend to negotiate a contract with the current contractor, Hart Crowser from Seattle, WA, for the above referenced work done under the authority provided in the FAR, Part 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The justification for the transaction is based upon a superior knowledge of site (five years of performing oversight review and analysis of responsible party submittals), critical stage of project, and resultant overall benefit to the government and public. Hart Crowser was originally awarded a contract for similar activities with an anticipated life of no more than five (5) years. As a result of some performance shortcomings on the part of the responsible party, the cleanup is anticipated to last another 3-5 years. The total value of the contract is estimated between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The NAICS code is 541620.
