- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia intends to solicit on a competitive basis, services to perform rip-out of the existing #2 AN/BRA-34 Multifunction Mast System and installation of the High Data Rate (HDR) SATCOM Antenna System Mast Mechanical Group (MMG) onboard US Naval Nuclear Submarines. Contractors shall be certified by the Commander Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC to perform work on SUBSAFE systems and be listed on NAVSEA NOTICE 5000, in order to be eligible for contract award. The government shall elect to award a single contract or to award multiple contracts for the same or similar services to two or more sources. An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee type contract is contemplated. The ordering period is 33 months and the period of performance is 36 months. The level of effort is 267,576 for all th ree years. Anticipated release date for the solicitation is 31 January 2002.
