Description
The INL Bureau is requesting offers for the purchase of vehicles to be exported to Panama. This procurement is a small business set aside. Additional information, specifications and the requirements for "refurbished" vehicles will be sent to the vendors upon request. Contact the Contracting Officer, Ruth Porter via telefax at #202-776-8686. The contracting officer cannot answer all email and telephone inquiries. Please contact her at the telefax number listed above. These vehicles will consist of military trucks which include five each M813 5-Ton 6X6 trucks and four each M715 D/A 1-1/4 Ton 4X4 troop cargo trucks. Vendors may make offers on either type of truck or both. Vendors do not need to offer on both types of trucks to be considered for award. Trucks may be new or "refurbished" vehicles. The vehicles offered must be warranted with a minimum commercial warranty for operation in rough jungle terrain in Panama and must meet military standards for said vehicles. An inspection will be done by government personnel prior to acceptance and shipping out of the United States of the vehicles. The Government will make an award based upon Best Value to the Government, to the responsible Offeror(s) whose offer conforms to the government's requirements, and is most advantageous to the Government. For those offers meeting all technical specifications and requirements, delivery time ARO will then be of primary importance. Price is a factor for consideration, but the Government may award to other than the lowest priced Offeror. Total price quoted must be FOB price to Miami, FL. Fax offers to Ruth Porter, Contracting Officer, 202-776-8686. Offers must be received prior to 4:00 PM, EST on February 15, 2002. All responsible offers will be considered for award*****
