- (i) This solicitation is for the purchase of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. (ii) Solicitation number N00104-02-Q-Q264 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document is set-aside for small business concerns. (iv) NAVICP intends to procure commercially available communications cabling, and related items for the NEAMIS Project, Norfolk, VA. (v) The items include part number, description, and quantity as follows: CLIN 0001 - NOR AX100041, Patch Panel 24 Port Fiber Con Rack MT, 30 Ea; CLIN 0002 - NOR AX 100068, FOC 48Port Rack Mount LIU, 12 Ea; CLIN 0003 - NOR AX1000947, Tool Kit Optimax Fiber, 1 Ea; CLIN 0004 - OCC DX48-105D-W-R, FOC 48 STR MM Riser, 2000 Ea; CLIN 0005 - NOYES MLPI-1S, Light Source & Power Meter Kit, 1 Ea; CLIN 0006 - NOR AX 1 00452, PP 24P CAT5E 110 568B, 20 Ea; CLIN 0007 - NOR AX100452, Patch panel 48PRT PS5 HD110, 12 Ea; CLIN 0008 - NOR AX100088, Coupling Plate 6Port Loaded STMM Snap-I, 216 Ea; CLIN 0009 - NOR A0408837, FOC Optimax ST Connectors MM UNI. MNT, 1300 Ea; CLIN 0010 - 0400-4003, FOA ST-SC DPX Poly 3M MM, 500 Ea; Clin 0011 - 0400-4002, FOA ST-SC DPX Poly 2M MM, 250 Ea; Clin 0012 - 0400-4001, FOA ST-SC DPX Poly 1M MM #24, 250 Ea. (vi) Delivery and acceptance of material shall be no later than January 31, 2002, FOB Destination. (vii) Split awards will be considered. (viii) A firm fixed price contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest price technically acceptable quote and delivery schedule. (ix) Quotes of an "or equal" nature will be accepted and reviewed for acceptability. (x) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xi ) DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, is incorporated by reference. (xii) All offeror's must have a CAGE Code and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. (xiii) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions REquired to Implement Statutes or Executive Order Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xiv) All responsible bids, proposals, or quotations may be faxed to NAVICP Code 0272.12 at (717) 605-4600. All bids, proposals, or quotations are due by 1:00 p.m. EDT, 17 January 2002.
